Joy MacFadyen
A long-time member of the Art Guild of Scarborough, Joy MacFadyen has been painting for over thirty years. Although she started out painting landscapes she now prefers abstract collage, assemblage and portraits in oils. Joy has won many awards for her work and has executed hundreds of portrait commissions, including eighteen for the Lipton Soups' Family Pride Contest some years ago.
Born in South Africa, Joy has lived in Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Argentina and New York. She now resides in Scarborough with her husband, her step-son and two Siamese cats.
